Privacy policy

The service does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookie files. 

Cookie files (so called ‘cookies’) constitute IT data, especially text files, which are stored in the final equipment/device of the Service User and which are intended for the use of the websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, time of storage on the final device and a unique number.

Operator of the Service –  swepol.com, with  a registered office at 176/178 Przybyszewskiego Street, Lodz is the  entity that places cookie files in the final equipment/device of the Service User and that has access to them.

Cookie files are used in order to:

       a) adapt web contents to the User’s preferences and to optimize the use of the websites; in particular, these files enable to recognize the device of the Service User and allow to display the website properly, in a way adjusted to their individual needs;

       b) to generate statistics, which help to understand how the Service Users use the websites, which in turn allows for improvement of their structure and contents;

       c) to keep the session of the Service User (after logging in) up and running, thanks to which the User does not have to write his/her login and password whenever on each sub-site.

As part of the Service two main types of cookie files are used, i.e.: session cookies  and persistent cookies.

Session cookies are temporary files, which are stored in a final equipment/device of the Service User till he/she logs out, leaves the website or switches of the browser.  

Persistent cookies are stored in the final equipment/device of the Service User for a specific period of time specified in parameters of the cookie files or till the time they are removed by the User.

The Service uses the following types of cookie files:

a) ‘necessary’ cookie files that enable to use the services available within the Service e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication as part of the Service;

b) cookie files that ensure safety, e.g. cookie files used to detect fraud in the field of authentication through the Service;

c) ‘performance’ cookie files – they enable to collect information concerning the way of people use websites of the Service;

d) ‘functional’ cookie files that ‘remember’ selected by the User settings and interface personalization, e.g. with regard to the selected language or region that the User comes from, the font size, the look of the website etc.;

e) ‘advertisement’ cookies that enable to provide the Service User with advertising contents adjusted more accurately to the User’s interests and needs.  

In a number of cases software used to browse the net (a browser) is allowed by default to store cookies on the user's final equipment/device. The Service Users may at any time change settings concerning cookies. These settings can be changed especially in such a way so as to block automatic service of cookie files in the settings of the web browser and to each time get information about their placement in the User’s device. Detailed information on the possibility and the way of cookie files service is available in the software settings (search engine/browser).

The Service Operator informs that limitations on the use of cookie files may influence some functions available on the websites of the Service.

Cookie files placed in the final equipment/device of the Service User can be also used by partners and advertisers who cooperate with the Service Operator.
